Our horseshoe-shaped gammon steaks are juicy and have just the right thickness for that classic dinner of gammon and eggs or even perhaps, a piece of pineapple.
Either pan-frying or grilling the gammon steaks is the best way to cook them. If you choose to grill the steaks, first rub them in olive oil before cooking between 3-4 minutes on each side.
To create a sticky, sweet marinade on the gammon, mix together, 1 tbsp of Worcheshire sauce, 1 tbsp of honey and 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard. Brush the marinade over the steaks before grilling 5-6 minutes on each side.
Pair your gammon steaks with something sweet to balance the saltiness of the gammon. The classic pineapple slice is perfect for this. Cook the pineapple by frying the slices roughly 1-2 minutes each side or until they are a delicious golden brown colour.
