Gammon Joint


Our traditional gammon joint is high in quality and is bursting with flavour. The meat is soft and tender and is the perfect dish to serve at a special occasion or can be used to make amazing sandwiches.

This traditional gammon joint has been expertly hand boned and rolled by our experienced butchers and comes in 2 different sizes; 1.5 – 1.75 kg or 2.25 – 2.5kg.

  • For a simple but delicious glaze on the gammon joint, mix together 4 tablespoons of honey with 4 tablespoons of mustard. Brush half of it over the gammon joint and roast for 10-15 minutes. Then take the gammon out of the oven and brush it with the remaining mixture.
  • To stop the gammon from drying out, or your glaze from burning, take the joint out of the oven every 20 minutes. This will help to keep the meat nice and juicy.
  • For a sticky, zesty glaze on the gammon joint, rub 3 tablespoons of marmalade and 3 tablespoons of honey and pour evenly over the gammon joint before cooking.
