Game Keepers Roast

A gamekeeper’s roast is the ultimate Christmas dinner or even a Sunday roast. The luxurious centrepiece consists of a duck boned and then stuffed with pheasant and a chicken breast. The pheasant is then rolled in delicious streaky bacon.

The boned duck serves up to 4 people.

  • Duck meat is very low in fat, for this reason, it is important to cook your dish at a low temperature. We recommend between 120 to 160°c- this will help to stop the meats from drying out.
  • If you are looking for a sauce to serve with your gamekeeper’s roast, a sherry and mustard sauce is a real winner. These flavours combined can really help to bring out the flavour of the meats.
