Fresh Chorizo Sausage


Our Spanish style chorizo is perfect for cooking your Spanish/Portuguese inspired dishes. Cooking chorizo can be used in many Mediterranean influenced dinners such as paella, or if you wanted to try something new and bold, perhaps a squid and chorizo risotto.

The cooking chorizo has a strong but not overpowering taste of paprika and mild chilli, along with other complimenting herbs and spices.

  1. There are many ways you can cook chorizo but to cook it the Spanish way, finely chop the chorizo and cook with a small amount of oil on medium heat for roughly 4-5 minutes or until the sausage has started to brown.
  2. Our cooking style chorizo can also be turned into chorizo jam, a wonderfully moreish, savoury jam that makes a fantastic Christmas hamper gift.
  3. One traditional Spanish tapas dish is glazed chorizo. To make this, fry the chorizo in a pan and once it is cooked add in 1tbsp of honey and 3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar. Reduce the sauce until it forms a glaze. Serve this dish immediately.
