Boneless Leg of Pork


Our leg of pork is the perfect cut of meat for a Sunday lunch with the family. The meat is tender and delicious with just the ideal amount of crunchy crackling on top. 

Our boneless leg of pork is available in two sizes, 1.25-1.5kg or a 2-2.25kg, satisfying for all families and appetites.

  • To season your meat, create a paste of garlic, salt and fresh cracked black pepper. Rub it evenly all over the meat and leave for at least an hour before cooking (ideally, leave it overnight if you can) to allow the salt to penetrate throughout the meat. 
  • Homemade apple sauce is simply made and a perfect condiment to a roast leg of pork. Just tip the 3 ingredients, apples, caster sugar and butter into a pan and cook on a low heat for around 15minutes, or until the apples have broken down.
  • To stop the meat drying out when it is cooking, roast at a low temperature of around 150degrees. Ensure the juices run clear before removing from the oven.  Leave the pork to rest for 20 minutes before carving, and if your meat is a lovely pale pink colour, that is the sign it is going to be juicy and full of flavour.
